Motions:
These are just a few 'standards' and I'm sure the Lord will pour more into you as you worship.

  • A figure '8' made three (3) times is the equivalent of the name of Jesus.
    (The Greek spelling of Jesus is 'IESOUS'; I=10, E=8, S=200, O=70, U=400, S=200; 10+8+200+70+400+200=888)

  • Wrapping the banner around the pole and unwinding it can represent: 'releasing the anointing'

  • Waving side to side can represent 'the Glory of God'

  • Waving in a circular motion above your head can represent saying, "Lord, send down your glory"

This is not an exhaustive list. Please keep in mind that there are many variations when it comes to using banners. We do not to claim that the methods, scriptures, and colors are "be all" and "end all" of banners. Banners, flags, tabrets and others are only tools. They are not meant to replace your current methods of worship nor are they better than other methods. They are only another way to express yourself and focus our worship to the moving of the Holy Spirit. In a way, the prophetic fulfillment of Jeremiah 31:4, "Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shall go forth in the dances of them that make merry."
